9. Disconnect the plug with thermostat5
from the device when it has cooled
down completely.

6. Operation
6.1 Setting up
FIRE HAZARD!
~ Before switching on the device, place it
on a heat-resistant, flat and stable sur-
face.
~ The device must not be operated close
to flammable liquids or materials, or in
a potentially explosive environment.
Keep at a distance of at least 30 cm
from walls. In order to prevent overheat-
ing of the device or a potential fire, the
device must not be covered.
~ Do not use the electric pan under wall
units or near curtains, paper or similar
flammable objects.
~ The device must never be placed direct-
ly under a wall socket, as the arising
heat may lead to damage to the electric
system.
WARNING! Risk of material dam-
age!
~ The device is not designed for operation
outdoors.
~ If you want to fry at the table, please
note that splashes of fat can damage
the table, the tablecloth and clothing.
• Place the pan7 in a suitable location.
6.2 Connecting
WARNING! Risk of material dam-
age!
~ Make sure that the device is switched
off before you connect it to a wall sock-
et (thermostat control9 is set to OFF).

wall socket corresponding to the specifi-
cations of the rating plate.
6.3 Switching on and con-
trolling the temperature
FIRE HAZARD!
~ If fat or oil catches fire, it must never be
extinguished with water, because this
would lead to a fat explosion. Stifle the
fire by placing the lid on the pan or with
a fire blanket or woollen blanket.
~ Always keep an eye on the electric pan
during operation. You will thus be able
to detect possible problems early on
due to unusual smells or noises.
