Daytime running light
The EOX
®
FL 170 HB has an automatic daytime running light.
As soon as you switch on the lights on your e-bike, the EOX
®
FL 170 HB switches to daytime running mode (20 LUX) depending on
the ambient brightness. If the ambient brightness decreases, the light automatically switches to standard mode (120 LUX)
The brightness sensor is located on the back of the light:
Please ensure that it is NOT covered or soiled in order to
ensure smooth operation.
High beam
The EOX
®
FL 170 HB has a separately switchable high beam.
It is switched on and off using the wired remote control on the EOX
®
FL 170 HB.
When the high beam is switched on, this is signalled by the blue high beam symbol on the remote control.
WARNING! Please note that other road users may be dazzled by the high beam.
Therefore, only use this outside built-up areas and in driving situations that allow it.
Function:
– Press button -> High beam on (blue symbol)
– Press button -> High beam off (symbol off)
