MOUNTING OPTIONS

Attach the EOX

®

FL 170 HB securely to the bike using one of the brackets supplied.

NOTE: If other brackets are used, no guarantee can be given for secure attachment.

The EOX

®

FL 170 HB can be mounted both on the handlebars and on a stem faceplate. Please select the preferred mounting situation for your bike.

Standard mounting is on the handlebars. There are 2 different handlebar diameters available (31.5 mm or 35 mm). Select the diameter that matches

your handlebar model.

– First attach the handlebar clamp to the light body using the xing screw supplied.

– Then open the handlebar clamp and attach the clamp to your handlebars

Alternatively, you can also mount your EOX

®

FL 170 HB on a stem faceplate. To do this, loosen the bottom cover on the light body (R) Slide the facepla-

te adapter into the mounting rib and then secure the adapter with the enclosed screw (A). Cover the hole in the handlebar bracket with the enclosed site

cover (S). You can now mount your EOX

®

FL 170 HB on a stem faceplate.

WARNING! Make sure that the cable exit on the EOX

®

FL 170 HB always points straight down. This is the only way to ensure that

the light image of the EOX

®

FL 170 HB is ideally aligned and the headlight is protected from water in the best possible way.
