Installing the option board (PN-LM551)
Option boards that comply with the Open Pluggable
Specication (OPS) can be installed in an expansion slot.
NOTE
• If there are cables already connected, disconnect them all.
TIP
• Contact your dealer for compatible optional boards.
1. Spread a thick, soft cloth (blanket, etc.) that will prevent
damage to the LCD panel on a stable at surface where
the entire monitor can be placed, and place the monitor
with the LCD panel face down on the cloth.

2. Remove the screws (x2) securing the expansion slot
cover attached to this unit.

3. Use the OPS xing screws (x2) provided with the
option board to secure the option board to the unit.

Removing the option board
Assemble in the opposite order of the installation.
NOTE
• Make sure the option board is inserted into the slot in the
correct orientation.
• Do not apply excessive force to manipulate the option
board before attaching it with screws.
• Use the OPS xing screws provided with the option board
to securely fasten the option board in place. If used without
securing it, it may fall and cause a serious accident.
• Keep the expansion slot cover and screws after you
remove them.
