ATTENTION
Do not use without a filter!
Place the product on a level, even surface.
Do not suck up any hot, glowing, flammable, explosive
or hazardous substances. These include hot ash, pet-
rol, solvents, acids or alkalis.
There is a risk of fire and injury.
If the products heats up switch the product off and pull
out the mains plug. Let the product cool down out-
doors under supervision.
Fill the container (4) no more than half way so that the
safety float valve (13a) always remains free (Fig. 9).
1. Attach the hose coupling (14a) to the suction connec-
tion (9) (see 8.5.1).
2. Switch on the product (see 9.1 or 9.2).
10.1.1 Dry vacuuming (Fig.1,7,9,14)
Note:
Do not use a wet or damp product for dry vacuuming!
1. Insert the paper filter bag (20) into the container (4)
(see 8.4.1).
2. Fit the filter cartridge (22) (see 8.4.3).
3. Connect the hose coupling (14a) to the suction con-
nection (9) (see 8.5.1).
4. Fit the telescopic pipe (16) to the handle (15)
(see 8.8).
Connect the telescopic pipe (16) and one of the noz-
zles (17/19).
Vacuuming at table height or in confined spaces:
Proceed as described in 8.9.
5. Hold the suction pipe (14) handle (15) firmly.
6. Switch on the product (see 9.1 or 9.2).
7. Vacuum the area to be cleaned or use it with a power
tool*.
8. If necessary, adjust the suction power by sliding the
slider (15a) on the handle (15) forwards and back-
wards.
9. Switch off the product (see 9.1 or 9.2).
* = may not be included in the scope of delivery!
10.1.2 Wet vacuuming (Fig.1,8,14)
Note:
A float integrated in the filter basket ensures that the
suction channel is automatically closed as soon as
the container has reached its maximum capacity. In
this case, the product must be switched off and the
container emptied before operation can be continued.
1. Empty the container (4) before wet vacuuming (see
11.1.1).
2. The container (4) is not suitable for storing liquids.
Empty the container (4) after wet vacuuming (see
11.1.2).
3. Remove the paper filter bag (20) or the filter cartridge
(22) from the tank (4) (see 8.4.1 or 8.4.3).
4. Fit the foam filter (21) (see 8.4.2).
5. Connect the hose coupling (14a) to the suction
connection (9) (see 8.5.1).
6.
Fit the telescopic pipe (16) to the handle (15) (see 8.8).
Connect the telescopic pipe (16) and one of the nozzles
(17/19).
Vacuuming at table height or in confined spaces:
Proceed as described in 8.9.
7. Hold the suction pipe (14) handle (15) firmly.
8. Switch on the product (see 9.1 or 9.2).
9. Vacuum the area to be cleaned.
10. Switch off the product (see 9.1).
11. Clean the product (see 11.1).
10.2 Blast function (Fig.1,7,11)
WARNING
Danger of injury!
If you direct the airflow at people, animals or objects,
this can cause injury and damage.
Direct the air flow away from you.
Never direct the airflow at other people, animals or
objects.
Do not blow away hard objects such as stones or
branches.
1. Insert the paper filter bag (20) into the container (4)
(see 8.4.1).
2. Fit the foam filter (21) or the filter cartridge (22) (see
8.4.2 or 8.4.3).
3. Fit the hose coupling (14a) to the blowing connection
(12) (see 8.5.2).
Connect a nozzle (17/19) if required (see 8.9.1).
4. Hold the suction pipe (14) handle (15) firmly.
5. Switch on the product (see 9.1).
6. Blow off a surface or objects.
7. Switch off the product (see 9.1).
8. Connect the suction hose (14) to the suction connec-
tion (9) (see 8.5.1).
11 Cleaning and maintenance
WARNING
Have maintenance and repair tasks that are
not described in this operating manual, car-
ried out by a specialist workshop. Use only
original spare parts.
There is a risk of accident! Always carry out
maintenance and cleaning work with the mo-
tor switched off and the mains plug discon-
nected. There is a danger of injury! Let the
Product cool down before all maintenance
and cleaning tasks. Elements of the engine
are hot. There is a danger of injury and burn-
ing!
The product can start unexpectedly and cause injuries.
Switch off the motor before carrying out any clean-
ing or maintenance work.
Allow the motor to cool down.
Pull out the mains plug!
