Ejected stones or soil can cause injuries. Search
the surfaces to be worked on in advance for foreign
bodies. Make sure that the protective mat is properly
hooked in. Wear safety goggles during work.
Behaviour in an emergency
Initiate the necessary rst aid measures for the injury
and seek medical assistance as quickly as possible.
Protect the injured person from further harm and keep
them calm. A rst-aid kit according to DIN 13164 should
always be available at the workplace in the event of an
accident. Any material taken from the rst aid kit must
be relled immediately.
When requesting assistance, provide the following in-
formation:
1. Place of the accident
2. Nature of the accident
3. Number of injured
4. Nature of the injuries
5. Wait for further questions

Noise and vibration

Prevent unintentional starting. Make sure the switch
is in the o󰀨-position before connecting to the power
supply.
Remove any adjusting tools or spanners/keys before
turning the power tool on. A tool or spanner that is lo-
cated in a rotating device part may result in injuries.
Wear safety goggles. Wearing protective equipment
such as non-slip safety shoes reduces the risk of injury.
Wear suitable clothing. Do not wear loose clothing or
jewellery. Keep hair, clothing and gloves away from
moving parts. Loose clothes, jewellery or long hair
can be caught in moving parts.
Check damaged parts before working with the prod-
uct. A damaged guard or other part must be carefully
inspected to ensure that it is working properly and
performing its intended function. Check the align-
ment of moving parts, breakages, assembly or other
conditions that could a󰀨ect the function.
A damaged guard or other part must be profession-
ally repaired or replaced.
Warning! This power tool generates an electromagnet-
ic eld during operation. This eld can impair active or
passive medical implants under certain circumstances.
In order to prevent the risk of serious or deadly injuries,
we recommend that persons with medical implants
consult with their physician and the manufacturer of
the medical implant prior to operating the power tool.
6. Residual risks
The product has been built according to state-of-the-
art and the recognised technical safety rules. However,
individual residual risks can arise during operation.

of improper electrical connection cables.
Furthermore, despite all precautions having been
met, some non-obvious residual risks may still re-
main.
Residual risks can be minimised if the “Safety In-
structions” and the “Intended Use” together with the
operating manual as a whole are observed.

ating button may not be pressed when inserting
the plug in a socket. Use the tool attachment that
is recommended in this operating manual. This is
how to ensure that your product provides optimum
performance.
