10.1 Filling up with engine oil (Fig. 14)
ATTENTION
The product is delivered without engine oil. There-
fore, ensure that you add oil before starting it up.
Use multigrade oil (SAE 30, 10W-30 or 10W-40).
Check the oil level regularly before commissioning.
An oil level that is too low can damage the motor.
1. Unscrew the oil dipstick (17).
2. Fill the tank with engine oil using a funnel. Note
the max. lling capacity of 0.4 l. Fill the oil up to
the lower edge of the lling nozzle carefully.
3. Wipe the oil dipstick (17) with a clean, lint-free cloth.
4. Re-insert the oil dipstick (17) and pull it out again.
Check the oil level without screwing the oil dip-
stick (17) back in.
5. The oil level must be within the middle mark on
the oil dipstick (17).
6. If the oil level is too low, add the recommended
amount of oil (max. 0.4 l).
7. Then screw the oil dipstick (17) back in.
10.2 Filling up with fuel (Fig. 1)
m DANGER
Risk of re and explosion!
When lling, fuel may ignite and even explode.
This can lead to severe burns or death.
Switch o󰀨 the motor and allow it to cool down
Keep heat, ames and sparks away.
Only ll up with fuel outdoors.
Wear protective gloves.
Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
Start the product at a distance of at least 3 m from
the fuel lling point.
Watch out for leaks. If fuel is leaking, do not start
the engine.
ATTENTION
The product is delivered without fuel. It is therefore
essential to ll with fuel before commissioning. Use
Super E10 petrol for this.
1. Clean the area surrounding the lling area. Impu-
rities in the fuel tank (18) lead to operational faults.
2. Carefully open the tank cover (19) so that any pos-
sible overpressure can be relieved.
3. Fill the fuel tank (18) with petrol using a funnel.
Note the max. lling capacity of 1.2 l. Fill the petrol
up to the lower edge of the lling nozzle carefully.
4. Close the tank cover (19) again. Ensure that the
fuel cap is tightly sealed.
5. Clean the tank cover (19) and the surroundings.
6. Turn the trim plate (15) outwards into position (Fig. 5)
7. Fasten the trim plate (15) with two pan-head
screws (13) (Fig. 6).
10. Before commissioning
ATTENTION
Always assemble the product completely be-
fore commissioning!
