10 Working instructions
10.1 Suction function
WARNING
Vacuuming glowing ash as well as flamma-
ble, hazardous substances is prohibited.
There is a danger of injury!
ATTENTION
Fine dusts, such as those from cement, soot and plas-
ter, are too fine to be absorbed. There is a risk that it
could get into the motor and damage it.
ATTENTION
Do not use without a filter!
• Place the product on a level, even surface.
• When vacuuming, constantly check the container and
suction hose for heating.
• Switch off the product and remove the battery when it
is warming up. Let the product cool down outdoors un-
der supervision.
• During breaks, the suction tube can be stored in the
holder on the container lid.
• Fill the container no more than half full so that the filter
cartridge is always free.
1. Select an appropriate filter (18/20/21) for the work to
be carried out. (See 8.4)
2. Attach the hose coupling (6) to the suction connection
(5). (See 8.5.1)
3. Switch the product on. (See 9.2)
10.1.1 Wet vacuuming
• If the container (10) is filled, a float in the filter cage
(19) closes the suction opening and the suction opera-
tion is interrupted.
Switch the product off and emptying the container (10)
(see 9.2 and 11.1.1).
• The container (10) is not suitable for storing liquids.
Empty the container (10) after wet vacuuming (see
11.1.1).
10.2 Blast function
WARNING
Danger of injury!
If you direct the airflow at people, animals or objects,
this can cause injury and damage.
– Direct the air flow away from you.
– Never direct the airflow at other people, animals or
objects.
– Do not blow away hard objects such as stones or
branches.
1. Attach the hose coupling (6) to the blast connection
(3). (See 8.5.2)
2. Switch the product on. (See 9.2)
11 Cleaning and maintenance
WARNING
Have maintenance and repair tasks that are
not described in this operating manual, car-
ried out by a specialist workshop. Use only
original spare parts.
There is a risk of accident! Always perform
maintenance and cleaning work with the bat-
tery removed.
There is a danger of injury! Let the Product
cool down before all maintenance and clean-
ing tasks. Elements of the engine are hot.
There is a danger of injury and burning!
The product can start unexpectedly and cause injuries.
– Remove the battery.
– Allow the product to cool down.
– Remove the tool attachment.
11.1 Cleaning
1. Never immerse the product in water or other liquids
for cleaning.
2. Do not splash the product with water.
3. Keep protective devices, air vents and the motor
housing as free of dust and dirt as possible. Rub the
product clean with a clean cloth* or blow it off with
compressed air* at low pressure. We recommend that
you clean the product directly after every use.
4. Ventilation openings must always be free.
5. Do not use any cleaning products or solvents; they
could attack the plastic parts of the product. Make
sure that no water can penetrate the product interior.
* = may not be included in the scope of delivery!
11.1.1 Emptying the container (10)
(Fig. 1, 4, 5)
WARNING
Empty and clean the product before and after
use to avoid the accumulation of materials
that could pose a fire risk in the product.
1. Remove the container cover (12) as described in 8.1.
2. Empty the container (10).
11.1.2 Cleaning the filter (18, 20)
(Fig. 1, 6, 7, 11)
Clean the filter if suction power decreases.
1. Remove all tool attachments from the holder (22).
2. Remove the container cover (12) as described in 8.1.
3. Flip the container cover (12).
4. Remove the filter (18, 20) from the filter cage (19).
5. Remove the dust on the filter (18, 20) with a brush
and wash out the filter (18, 20) if necessary.
