7. Unpacking
• Open the packaging and carefully remove the prod-
uct.
• Remove the packaging material, as well as the
packaging and transport safety devices (if present).
• Check whether the scope of delivery is complete.
• Check the product and accessory parts for trans-
port damage. In the event of complaints the carrier
must be informed immediately. Later claims will not
be recognised.
• If possible, keep the packaging until the expiry of
the warranty period.
• Familiarise yourself with the product by means of
the operating manual before using for the rst time.
• With accessories as well as wearing parts and re-
placement parts use only original parts. Replace-
ment parts can be obtained from your dealer.
• When ordering please provide our article number
as well as type and year of manufacture for your
product.
m ATTENTION!
The device and the packaging material are not
children’s toys! Do not let children play with
plastic bags, lms or small parts! There is a dan-
ger of choking or suocating!
8. Before commissioning
Setting of the battery type for the power station
(g. 4 - 5):
Before commissioning the battery type (b07) must be
set in the settings.
Note: Please inform yourself in advance about the
appropriate values for your battery for other prod-
ucts.
1. Press the menu button (9) to access the main set-
tings menu.
2. By pressing the menu button (9) again, you can
scroll through the various setting options.
3. Open the settings menu to set the battery type
(18).
- b01: Battery type for sealed or welded
lead-acid batteries. A charging voltage of 14.4
volts is predened.
- b02: Battery type for gel batteries. A charging
voltage of 14.2 volts is predened.
- b03: Battery type for lead-acid batteries. A
charging voltage of 14.6 volts is predened.
- b04: Battery type for lithium iron phosphate
batteries (LiFePO4) with four strings.
- b05: Battery type for lithium iron phosphate
batteries (LiFePO4) with ve strings.
- b06: Battery type for lithium-ion batteries (Li-
ion battery) with three strings.
Please note that our products were not designed
with the intention of use for commercial or industrial
purposes. We assume no guarantee if the product is
used in commercial or industrial applications, or for
equivalent work.
5. Safety information
General safety information
• Health hazard due to electrical power, with the use
of improper electrical connection cables.
• Please read through the safety instructions careful-
ly before use.
• Do not use the product if you notice any damage or
irregularities.
• Protect the product against moisture and water.
• Avoid contact of the module surface with pointed or
sharp-edged objects.
• You should not loosen the pre-assembled electrical
cables to the charge controller.
• Use only original or certied USB charging cables.
