Engine brake lever (3) (Fig. 1)
The engine is equipped with a mechanical brake
which has to be checked regularly. When the brake

cialist dealer.
Ensure that the product is in a awless condition for

Service information
With this product, it is necessary to note that the fol-
lowing parts are subject to natural or usage-related
wear, or that the following parts are required as con-
sumables.
Wearing parts*: Spark plug, air lter, fuel lter, blade,
V-belt, battery
* may not be included in the scope of delivery!
Pull out the oil dipstick (12) and read the oil level
horizontally. The oil level must be positioned be-
tween the max and min of the oil dipstick (12).
Oil change (Fig. 23)
The engine oil change should be completed annu-
ally before the start of the season while the engine
is at operating temperature and shut o󰀨.
Only use motor oil (SAE 30).
Empty the fuel tank (6) (with a petrol extraction
pump).
Place a at oil collecting tray in front of the mower
(min. volume 1 litre).
Unscrew the oil dipstick (12) and tilt the mower until
all the oil has drained into the collection tray.
Then ll in fresh engine oil up to the upper mark
of the oil dipstick (12) (approx. 0.5 l), do not overll
the device.
Attention! To check the oil level, do not screw in the
oil dipstick (12), but only insert it up to the thread.
Dispose of the used oil in accordance with applicable
regulations.
Cleaning the belts (Fig. 17, 19)
Remove the blade and the transmission housing by
undoing the screws.
Clean the elements of the transmission and the
V-belt once or twice a year with a brush or com-
pressed air.
Ret the transmission housing and the blade using
the screws.
Maintaining and adjusting the cables
Oil the cables at regular intervals and check that they
move easily.
Air lter maintenance (7) (Fig. 20)
Fouled air lters diminish the engine output due to
reduced air supply to the carburettor. Regular inspec-
tion is therefore essential.
The air lter (7) should be checked every 25 operat-
ing hours and cleaned as required. The air lter (7)
must be checked more often if the air is very dusty.
Unclip the air lter cover and remove the sponge lter
element. Replace the air lter to avoid objects falling
into the air intake (g. 20).
Attention: Never clean the air lter with petrol or com-
bustible solvents. Clean the air lter with compressed
air or simply by knocking out any soiling.
Spark plug maintenance (10) (Fig. 21)
Check the spark plug (10) for contamination for the rst
time after 10 operating hours and clean it with a cop-
per wire brush if necessary. Then maintain the spark
plug (10) every 50 operating hours.
Remove the spark plug connector with a twist.
