an environmentally friendly manner.
1. Connect the air hose reel to the compressed air
supply by engaging the plug nipple (6) into the
quick-release coupling of the compressor.
2. Disconnect the air hose reel from the compressed
air supply by pulling the outer ring of the quick cou-
pling away from the air hose reel.
10.2 Locking and return mechanism
The air hose reel has a locking and return mecha-
nism. This makes it easy to pull out and return the com-
pressed air hose.
This locking mechanism makes a creaking noise when
rolling up and down. This is not a fault. If the noise
changes after numerous uses and/or if there are prob-
lems with the mechanism, seek professional help or
contact customer service.
WARNING! Danger of injury!
The return mechanism is operated by a powerful
spring. Injuries can occur if the compressed air hose
is rolled up incorrectly.
Never allow the compressed air hose to recoil un-
controllably.
If the return mechanism is damaged, take the air
hose reel out of operation immediately. Have the
damage repaired by a specialist.
10.3 Unreeling the hose
1. Carefully pull the compressed air hose (2) out of the
reel housing (4) to the desired working length for the
pneumatic tool. When you release the compressed
air hose (2), the lock engages at this length.
10.4 Reeling in the hose
1. You can release the lock by pulling the com-
pressed air hose (2) briey (approx. 3-5 cm).
2. Ensure that you roll the compressed air hose (2)
back into the reel housing (4) in a controlled man-
ner. To do this, hold the quick-release coupling
while pulling it in.
3. If the hose becomes twisted, it is necessary to ex-
tend the hose to its full length so that it can retract
evenly into the reel.
10.5 Adjusting the hose stopper
The position of the hose stopper (1) can be adjusted -
this stops the winding of the compressed air hose (2) at
the desired length.
1. A Phillips screwdriver (not included in the scope of
delivery) is required to adjust the hose stopper (3).
