Drain filter (applicable models only)
The drain filter filters the yarns and small foreign substances from the drainage water. Clean the filter
periodically to prevent clogging.
WARNING
• Never remove the drain filter while the washing machine is operating. Unplug the washing machine
before cleaning the drain filter.
• Hot water may remain in the drain pump depending on the cycle setting used before the cleaning. Be
careful when you remove the drain filter.
• For the models with emergency tube: You must remove the emergency drain tube cap and drain off the
water before removing the drain filter.
1. Put an empty, spacious
container under the drain
filter.
2. Turn the drain filter knob
to the left and drain off the
water.
3. Remove the small foreign
substance inside the drain
valve.
4. Clean the filter with running
water and a soft brush.
5. While aligning the filter with
the slot, reinsert the filter.
6. Turn the filter knob to the
right until it locks into
position.
