Installation location requirements

down.Failingtodosomaycausethecompressor

lubricationoiltorunintothecoolingcircuitand

leadtoaseriousdamagetotheunit.

• Installtheunitinawell-ventilatedlocationaway

fromdirectsunlightorstrongwinds.

• Installtheunitinalocationthatwouldnot

obstructanypassagewaysorthoroughfares.

• Installtheunitinalocationthatwouldnot

inconvenienceordisturbyourneighbors,asthey

couldbeaffectedbythenoiseortheairflow

comingfromtheunit.

• Installtheunitinalocationwherethepipesandthe

cablescanbeeasilyconnectedtotheindoorunit.

• Installtheunitonaflat,stablesurfacethatcan

withstandtheweightoftheunit.Otherwise,theunit

cangeneratenoiseandvibrationduringoperation.

• Installtheunitsothattheairflowisdirected

towardstheopenarea.

• Maintainsufficientclearancearoundtheoutdoorunit,

especiallyfromaradio,computer,stereosystem,etc.
