3.2. PREPARING FOR USE
THIS DEVICE MAY ONLY BE INSTALLED BY A
QUALIFIED SPECIALIST. INSTALLATION MUST
BE PERFORMED IN ACCORDANCE WITH LOCAL
REGULATIONS.
4. If the ame is extinguished or will not ignite after one
minute, turn the knob back to the „●”. position. Wait
5 minutes, then repeat steps 1 to 3.
5. The rst ignition after installation may fail due to air
build-up in the device installation. Keep trying until
it ignites.
6. The re is at its maximum intensity when the knob
of the device is turned to the position marked with
” When the knob is turned below or above „ ”,
the ame will gradually decrease.
7. When the device plate reaches the desired
temperature, you can start roasting. When the food
is cooked, remove it from the grill plate to prevent it
from sticking to the plate.
8. After you nish using the device, turn the knob
clockwise until you hear a click. Then, to be on the
safe side, turn o the gas supply valve.
3.4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
a) Before cleaning, adjusting or changing the
accessories, and when the device is not in use, turn
the gas supply valve o and let the device cool down
completely.
b) Use only non-corrosive cleaners to clean the surface.
c) Use only mild, food-safe detergents to wash the
device.
d) After cleaning the device, all parts should be dried
completely before using it again.
e) Store the unit in a dry, cool place, free from moisture
and direct exposure to sunlight.
f) Do not spray the device with a water jet or submerge
it in water.
g) Clean the device after each use with a soft cloth and,
if necessary, wipe it using a neutral detergent.
h) Empty and clean the drip tray regularly.
i) Do not clean the device with water. Moisture can
damage the device.
j) When storing the device for an extended period of
time after cleaning, place it in a well-ventilated room
(no corrosive gas present).
k) Clean the vents with a brush and compressed air.
l) The device must be regularly inspected to check its
technical eciency and spot any damage.
m) Do not use sharp and/or metal objects for cleaning
(e.g. a wire brush or a metal spatula) because they
may damage the surface material of the appliance.

ATTENTION! Despite the safe design of the device
and its protective features, and despite the use of
additional elements protecting the operator, there is
still a slight risk of accident or injury when using the
device. Stay alert and use common sense when using
the device.

j) Do not leave this appliance unattended while it is in
use.
k) Clean the device regularly to prevent stubborn grime
from accumulating.
l) Before each use ensure the nozzle is correctly
installed in the device and that the hose is correctly
attached and undamaged.
m) Do not carry or hang the device by the pressure line.
n) Do not exceed the recommended supply pressure as
this may damage the device.
o) The device is not a toy. Cleaning and maintenance
may not be carried out by children without
supervision by an adult person.
p) It is forbidden to interfere with the structure of
the device in order to change its parameters or
construction.
q) Keep the device away from sources of re and heat.
r) Do not overload the device.
s) Do not cover the ventilation openings!
t) The device should not be used by people with an
impaired sense of smell.
u) Close the gas supply valve after use.
v) The gas supply tube must not be disconnected
during use.
w) In the event of a re in the appliance, close the gas
supply valve.
x) Do not use re to check the tightness of the
installation.
y) Use the recommended gas only.
z) In the event of a gas leak, close the gas supply valve
right away.
aa) When operating the device, DO NOT touch the hot
grill plate. Danger of burns!
bb) The device uses a low pressure gas regulating valve.
DO NOT use high or medium pressure valves.
cc) DO NOT place any ammable or explosive materials
on the grill plate or in its vicinity!
dd) The device should be installed in accordance with
applicable regulations and in keeping with this
manual
ee) The device may only be used in a well ventilated
space.
) To prevent electric shocks, all devices, both gas and
electric, must be grounded.
gg) The device is provided with a protective coating to
prevent the outer surface from scratching during
transport. Before using the device, remove the
protective coating.
hh) The device requires a supply of fresh air for the
combustion process. DO NOT modify or cover the
vents in the device and in the room where it is used.
3. USE GUIDELINES
The device is intended for heat treatment of food products
placed on the grill plate.
THE DEVICE IS INTENDED FOR PROFESSIONAL USE ONLY
AND SHALL BE OPERATED BY QUALIFIED PERSONNEL ONLY.
The user is liable for any damage resulting from
unintended use of the device.
3.1. DEVICE DESCRIPTION

6. Gas connection to the device is via the ½ BSPT
connector (on the back of the device).
7. The pressure test point is located in the rear of the
device.
8. The device should be supplied only with gas for
which it is factory-adapted, and according to the
manufacturer‘s recommendations. Parts protected
by the manufacturer or their representative against
third parties’ interference should not be adjusted by
the installer/user.
9. Before use, remove the protective coating
(preservative grease) from the grill plate.
10. The user of the device must be familiar with the
manual, and aware of the dangers of improper
operation, in particular of the risk of burns from
contact with the hot surface of the working area, the
danger of burning gas or hot cooking oil.
11. The device should be installed in well ventilated
places in order to prevent accumulation of harmful
substances posing danger to health and to life.
12. Ensure free air ow at the back of the device and
between the base and the surface on which the
device stands. Air is involved in the combustion
process.
13. Gas supply piping or hoses should meet the local
requirements and should be periodically checked or
replaced as necessary.
INSTALLATION
1. The base on which the device is to be installed
should be stable, even, horizontal and made of non-
ammable material.
2. The location of the device should provide immediate
access to the gas shut-o valve. Make sure that the
pressure of the gas supplied to the device does not
exceed the recommended range.
3. The device, depending on the model, is suitable
for use with natural gas or liquid gas. Detailed
information can be found in the manual’s technical
data table and on the rating plate of the device.
4. Keep the space around the device free. The distance
to the nearest objects should be:
3.3. DEVICE USE
1. Press the knob with your left hand and turn it anti-
clockwise to the position marked with the
symbol.
2. Pressing and holding the knob, press the red ignition
button on the right with your right hand and look
through the window above the knob to see if the
ame ignites. If it doesn’t, press the ignition button
several times until you see the ame.
3. When the ame ignites, hold the knob for another
15 to 20 seconds, and then release it.
