STORAGE
When vacuuming is complete, your RIDGID Wet/Dry
Vac has convenient storage locations.
ACCESSORY STORAGE (Fig. 15)
1. For Onboard Storage: Lock the NXT Floor Tool Wet
Shoe (L) onto the NXT Max Floor Tool (J).
2. The Extension Wands (M) are stored in the Tool
Holder (O) front Extension Wand Sleeves.
3. Accessories can be stored by placing them either
into the Tool Holder (O) pocket or over the posts on
the two locations on the Caddy Right/Left (S & T).
4. To remove Accessories from the Caddy Right/Left
posts, twist and pull up on the Accessory.
CORD STORAGE (Fig. 15)
1. To Store Cord: Wrap the Power Cord around the
Powerhead Carry Handle/Power Cord Wrap.
2. Secure the Power Cord using the Cord Clip on the
Polarized Plug.
HOSE STORAGE (Fig. 15)
1. The TUG-A-LONG Positive Locking Hose with Dual-
Flex (D) may be stored by wrapping it around the
Powerhead Assembly (A) and inserting the Hose
open end into the storage locations on the Caddy
Assembly (S & T).
WARNING:
Do not put any object into ventilation openings.
Do not vacuum with any ventilation openings
blocked; keep free of dust, lint, hair or anything
that may reduce air flow.
CAUTION:
Do not operate vacuum while the hose is still
wrapped around the powerhead assembly in the
storage position.
LOCKING ACCESSORIES (Fig. 15)
To ensure a secure fit when in use, your RIDGID
Wet/Dry Vac includes NXT Locking Accessories.
1. To Connect the Accessories: Align the Accessory’s
Nozzle Ridges with the Locking Tab of your
Extension Wand (M). Press to secure the Nozzle to
the Extension Wand.
2. To Disconnect the Locking Accessories: Twist the
Nozzle and Extension Wand (M) to disengage the
Nozzle Ridges and then pull. You may also press
the Locking Tab and pull to disengage.
