11 Operation
11.1 Turning the monitor on and off
1. To switch on the monitor, press the button on the control keypad (4) or the remote control (12).
Æ The monitor will switch on.
Æ The indicator light (3) will turn on.
2. To switch off the monitor, press the button again.
Æ The monitor will switch off.
Æ The indicator light (3) will turn off.
11.2 Selecting the playback source
1. To select the playback source, press the button on the control keypad (4) or the SOURCE button on the remote
control (12).
Æ The Input Source menu will appear on the display (1).
2. Select the desired playback source by repeatedly pressing the button on the control keypad (4) or by pressing
the and arrow buttons on the remote control (12).
3. To conrm your selection, press the button on the control keypad (4) or the ENTER button on the remote
control (12).
Æ The playback source is now selected. If an image/audio signal is present, it will be output by the monitor.
11.3 Playing media from a USB drive
1. Select USB as the playback source (see section “11.2 Selecting the playback source” on page 21).
2. Connect a suitable USB data carrier (max. 256 GB) containing the media you want to play (image, video, audio
or text les) to the USB socket (6).
3. Select the type of media from the USB 2.0 menu. To do this, press the button on the control keypad (4)
repeatedly or the and arrow buttons on the remote control (12).
4. To conrm your selection, press the button on the control keypad (4) or the ENTER button on the remote
control (12).
5. On the monitor, select C:\. To do this, use the button on the control keypad (4) or the and arrow buttons
on the remote control (12), then conrm with the button on the control keypad (4) or the ENTER button on the
remote control (12).
Æ The folder containing the media will be displayed.
6. Use the button on the control panel (4) or the and arrow buttons on the remote control (12) to select the
desired media le.
7. You can control playback with the onscreen controls:
– Play: Play media le
– FB: Rewind
– ff Fast-forward
– Prev.: Play previous media le
– Next: Play next media le
– Stop: Stop playback
– Playlist: Play playlist
8. To return to the main menu, press the button on the control keypad (4) or the MENU button on the remote
control (12).
