Insert the batteries
Open the cover and insert two 2 x AAA batteries, replace the cover. Always use AAA batteries and replace them in sets. Never mix
old and new batteries. Very weak batteries can leak and damage the handset. We recommend replacing your batteries in good time.
Note: there is a risk of fire and injury if a battery is handled improperly. Do not disassemble, crush, puncture, short the contacts or dispose
of the batteries in fire or water. Do not attempt to open or service a battery. Discard used batteries in full accordance
with recycling regulations in force in your region.
Handset operation
Point the handset at the remote receiver and press the buttons as illustrated to activate the relevant functions.
The handset should be within 15 meters of the player and there should be a clear line of sight between the handset and unit for
optimum remote control operation.
Note: To get the best out of the remote control functions, please use ONLY the supplied remote control with your QUAD 33.

Press to put the unit into, or bring it out of standby
Press to mute and un-mute the unit
Decrease backlight brightness/contrast
Press to enable/disable backlight/long press to adjust contrast
Increase backlight brightness/contrast
Increase volume
Press to confirm/long press to enable or disable display text
Decrease volume
Press to adjust balance (left+/right-)
Press to adjust balance (left-/right+)
Press to reset balance
Press to increase bass/tilt
Press to enable/disable tone
Press to decrease bass/tilt
Press to select aux 1 input
Press to cycle and select aux 2 or 3 input
Press to select XLR input
Press to select phono input
