For MCU firmware updates please visit the QUAD website to find the latest version. Please
read the update instructions before commencing any update.
Save the QUAD33.bin in the root directory of a FAT32 USB drive (Maximum 32Gb). Switch
off the unit, insert the USB into the USB-A port on the rear panel. Press and hold the
standby button and switch on the mains switch. Unit will show:

Long press the backlight button for 5s on remote control to activate the contrast adjustment
function. Use the -/+ button on remote control to decrease or increase contrast. Default
setting is C5.

Auto-Standby
The auto standby feature will by default put the unit into standby after 20 minutes
of inactivity. This feature can be configured and set to 20 minutes, 1 hour or 'never'.
Long press the standby button on front panel for 5 seconds to activate the setting. The
standby LED will flash as you cycle 20m, 1h or never.
Standby LED flashes once = Never
Standby LED flashes twice = 20 minutes
Standby LED flashes three times= 1 hour
Reset
To reset all settings, long press the standby and phono buttons on front panel
simultaneously for 3 seconds.
Check Firmware Version
Long press the standby button on front panel for 3 seconds to check the firmware version.
