This user manual describes the rear panel of model KX-P212A as a reference. Illustrations and features of

1 Signal input channel 1 and 2
Combo input (XLR/6.3 mm jack) for
connecting audio units via standard XLR or
6.3 mm jack cables. For channel 1, the
input level can be adjusted to the signal
source using the level switch (2).
2 Input level switch channel 1
This switch is used to adjust the input level: LINE
= for audio devices with line output (e.g. CD
players), MIC = for microphones.
3 Level control channel 1 and 2
4 PRESET control
To select the 6 integrated equalizer presets.
5 Groundlift switch
If an interfering hum noise can be heard
without a music signal, a ground loop may
be the reason for this. The ground lift
selector switch allows for interrupting the
ground loop and the humming should be
eliminated: LIFT = signal ground and
housing ground are separated, GND =
signal ground and housing ground are
connected.
6 Status indicators
POWER = speaker is powered on
SIG = input signal is present
CLIP = soft clipping circuit is active
7 MIX OUT output
XLR jack for routing the mixed signal
(mono) to another active speaker system.
8 Power input
Used to plug in the supplied power cord.
9 Power output
To connect another speaker system of the
KX series.
10 Power switch
