INTRODUCTION
Thank you for having chosen a PROEL product.
SESSION6, the top-of-the-range model of the series, is a compact high-power portable array system in an acve 2.1
conguraon, including two tops and one subwoofer. Designed for indoor and outdoor use in live concerts, mobile DJ
setups and corporate applicaons, the SESSION6 combines exibility, portability and performance with a professional
design and a sturdy plywood construcon.
Each top includes six 3.25” neodymium drivers in vercal array conguraon with progressive down lt, for increasing
the vercal coverage. A custom-designed phase plug provides an ultra-wide 120° horizontal coverage and guarantees
perfect voice intelligibility and accurate sound in any part of the listening area. The sub features two 10” high-excursion
woofers with 2.5” voice coil, able to provide very ‘punchy’ and dynamic basses, together with an extended low frequency
response and an impressive SPL.
The system is powered by a 3-channel 2400W Class D amplier and it’s controlled by the powerful PROEL CORE LT
DSP, able to deliver an outstanding sound denion. The signal processing includes a sophiscated Dynamic EQ and 4
EQ PRESETS (MUSIC, LIVE, DJ, SPEECH) to adapt the speakers to any kind of applicaon. The intuive control interface
features a single knob and a large LCD display, for controlling not only the DSP parameters but also the two MIC/LINE
selectable inputs, the system’s conguraon and the built-in BLUETOOTH audio interface.
Thanks to the innovave die-cast fast linking system with integrated connecons, the two tops can be combined
together, forming a longer 12-driver column and allowing the system to be used not only in STEREO mode, but also in
MONO or DOUBLE mode, for an extreme exibility.
A dedicated padded bag is included for storing and transporng the two columns and the provided pole and speaker
cable, for the maximum portability.
INSTRUCTIONS ( FIG. 1 / 2 )
1. LEFT / CH1 - MIC / LINE IN (combo XLR-JACK input)
This is a female combo connector, which accepts a XLR or a JACK plug from almost any type of equipment with a
balanced or unbalanced outputs. The XLR input is wired as follows:
Pin 1 = shield or ground
Pin 2 = + posive or "hot"
Pin 3 = - negave or "cold"
The JACK input is wired as follows:
Tip = + posive or "hot"
Ring = - negave or "cold"
Sleeve = shield or ground
When connecng an unbalanced signal, wire them as follows:
Pin 2 / Tip = + posive or "hot"
Pin 1-3 / Sleeve = shield or ground
NOTE: whenever possible, use always balanced cables. Unbalanced lines may also be used but may result in noise over
long cable runs. In any case, avoid using a balanced cable for one channel and an unbalanced one for the other.
In STEREO mode it works as the LINE input of the system's LEFT CHANNEL.
In DUAL and MONO mode it works as CH1 input, that is summed to CH2 input and sent to both amplier's channels.
In DUAL and MONO modes only, the input sensivity can be selected from the DSP display (page 2/9) as LINE, MIC or
MIC-20. The system's overall level can also be adjusted using the LEVEL control in the DSP main page.
In DOUBLE mode it works as the only LINE input for the system.
2. RIGHT / CH2 - MIC / LINE IN (combo XLR-JACK input)
Same as previous with the following dierences:
In STEREO mode it works as LINE input of RIGHT CHANNEL.
In DOUBLE mode it is DISABLED.
3. LEFT / CH1 LINK (XLR output balanced)
This is a male XLR connector connected in parallel with the LEFT /CH1 input, so it is wired as the input.
In STEREO and DOUBLE modes it can be connected to the inputs of other powered speakers to obtain a more powerful
system.
We recommend to not use this connector in DUAL and MONO modes with MIC and MIC-20 input sensivity.
4. RIGHT / CH2 LINK (XLR output balanced)
Same as above, connected in parallel with the RIGHT / CH2 input.
