Bowl Rest™: Never use Bowl Rest when Mixer is on or with small (1 1/2
quart/1.4 L) mixing bowls or plastic mixing bowls. This feature can be
used on most large mixing bowls. Turn Mixer OFF ( ); then set Mixer on
edge of bowl while adding ingredients or checking recipe.
Before first use: Wash Beaters in hot, soapy water. Rinse and dry.

These are suggestions for selecting speeds. Begin on 1 and increase as needed.

How to Use
1. Make sure Mixer is unplugged and Speed Control is set to OFF ( ). Insert
Beaters. Then plug Mixer into outlet. Place Beaters into bowl.
2. Move Speed Control to desired speed, starting at 1 and increasing to a
higher speed if necessary.
3. When finished mixing, move Speed Control to OFF ( ) and unplug.
4. To eject Beaters, with Speed Control set at OFF ( ), push straight down on
Speed Control.
Mixing Tips
Cookie dough is one of the thickest doughs to mix. Make it easier by
following these tips:
• Use a large mixing bowl to spread out ingredients for easier mixing.
• Have butter or margarine at room temperature.
• Add ingredients one at a time, thoroughly mixing after each addition.
• Add flour one cup at a time.
• If adding chips or nuts to a very thick dough or batter, we recommend
stirring them in by hand at the very end of the recipe.
Care and Cleaning
w WARNING
Electrical Shock Hazard: Disconnect power before
cleaning. Do not immerse mixer, cord, or plug in any liquid.
1. Always unplug from outlet and eject Beaters before cleaning.
2. Wash Beaters in hot, soapy water; rinse and dry. Or wash in the
dishwasher, top rack only. DO NOT use “SANITIZE” setting when washing
in dishwasher. SANITIZE cycle temperatures could damage the Beaters.
3. Wipe Mixer Body and cord with a clean, damp cloth.
4. Clean and dry all parts before storing. Store Mixer and Beaters in
Storage Case or in a clean, dry place. Never wrap power cord around
Mixer.
NOTE: Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads. To reduce risk of
electrical shock, do not immerse Mixer Body in water at any time.
Limited Warranty
This warranty applies to products purchased and used in the U.S. and
Canada. This is the only express warranty for this product and is in lieu of
any other warranty or condition.
This product is warranted to be free from defects in material and
workmanship for a period of three (3) years from the date of original

be conducted by the manufacturer, its service agent, or similarly
qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard. Contact Customer
Service for information on examination, repair, or adjustment as set
forth in the Limited Warranty.
10.
The use of attachments not recommended or sold by the appliance
manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or personal injury.
11.
Do not use outdoors.
12.
Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter or touch hot
surfaces, including stove.
13.
Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated
oven.
14.
Check that the appliance is OFF ( ) before plugging cord into wall
outlet. To disconnect, turn the control to OFF ( ); then remove plug
from wall outlet. To unplug, grasp the plug and pull from the outlet.
Never pull from the power cord.
15.
Do not use appliance for other than intended purpose.
16.
CAUTION! In order to avoid a hazard due to inadvertent resetting of
the thermal cut-out, this appliance must not be supplied through an
external switching device, such as a timer, or connected to a circuit
that is regularly switched on and off by the utility.

The length of the cord used on this appliance was selected to reduce
the hazards of becoming tangled in or tripping over a longer cord. If a
longer cord is necessary, an approved extension cord may be used.

: Ne jamais utiliser l’appui du bol lorsque le batteur
est en marche. Ne pas utiliser l’appui du bol sur les petits bols à
mélanger (1,4 L/1 1/2 pinte) ou bol de plastique. Cette fonction peut
être utilisée sur la plupart des grands bols à mélanger. ARRÊTER ( ) le
batteur, ensuite placer le batteur sur le bord du bol pendant que vous
ajoutez des ingrédients ou lisez la recette.
Avant la première utilisation : Laver les fouets à l’eau chaude
savonneuse. Rincer et sécher.

Utilisation
1. Assurez-vous que le batteur est débranché et que la commande de vitesse
est réglée à OFF ( /arrêt). Insérer les fouets. Brancher le batteur dans une
prise. Placer les fouets dans le bol.
2. Déplacer la commande de vitesse à la vitesse désirée, en commençant à 1
et en augmentant pour une vitesse plus élevée si nécessaire.
3. Lorsque le mélange est complété, déplacer la commande de vitesse à OFF
( /arrêt) et débranchez.
4. Pour éjecter les fouets, avec la commande de vitesse à OFF ( /arrêt)
appuyer directement sur la commande de vitesse.
