2. Now clamp a panel or similar with a thickness of
max. 2 mm between the sanding table (8) and the
sanding wheel (5).
3. Tighten the Phillips screws (8a).
4. Then remove the panel.
10.3 Sanding
Always hold the workpiece firmly during sanding.
Do not apply excessive pressure.
The workpiece should be moved back and forth on
the sanding belt or the sanding wheel when sand-
ing. This prevents the sanding paper from becoming
worn on one side.
ATTENTION
Pieces of wood should always be sanded with the
grain to prevent them splitting.
ATTENTION
If the sanding wheel or the sanding belt jam while you
are working, remove your workpiece. Then wait until
the product has reached its maximum speed again
before you continue working.
10.4 Connect the suction nozzle
(13/13b) (Fig. 1, 15)
The product is equipped with one suction nozzle each
for the sanding belt (13) and the sanding disc (13b).
Connect a dust extractor when processing dusty mate-
rials.
10.5 Replace sandpaper on sanding
disc (Fig. 1, 3, 9)
1. Pull out the mains plug.
2. Unscrew the locking screw for the sanding table (9)
and remove the sanding table (8).
3. Remove the two plates of the disc guard (17) by re-
moving the four screws (18) with a Phillips screw-
driver (not included in the scope of delivery).
4. Pull the sandpaper (5a) off the sanding wheel (5)
and attach the new sandpaper (5a) (quick-fit fasten-
ing system) in reverse order.
5. Refit the two plates of the disc guard (17).
6. Mount the grinding table as described under 8.1 .
10.6 Replacing the grinding belt (3)
(Fig. 1, 10-13)
1. Pull out the mains plug.
2. Loosen the wing screw (19) with washer (19a).
3. Loosen the hexagon socket screw (12) with the
hexagon socket spanner (20) and move the sanding
belt holder (23) to the above position. Tighten the
hexagon socket screw (12) again.
4. Loosen the Phillips screw (13a) and remove the
suction nozzle for belt grinders (13).
5. Loosen the screws (22) with a Phillips screwdriver
(not included in the scope of delivery).
6. Take the grinding belt guard (21) off the grinding
belt holder (23).
7. Pull out the grinding belt tensioner (2) to release the
tension on the grinding belt (3).
8. Remove the sanding belt (3) towards the rear.
9. Mount the new grinding belt (3) in reverse order.
10. Loosen the hexagon socket screw (12) with the
hexagon socket spanner (20) and move the sanding
belt holder (23) to the lower position. Tighten the
hexagon socket screw (12) again.
11. Screw the wing screw (19) with washer (19a) tight
again.
ATTENTION
Note the running direction on the housing and on the
inside of the sanding belt!
10.7 Adjusting the sanding belt
(Fig. 1, 14)
1. Pull out the mains plug.
2. Push the grinding belt (3) by hand slowly in the run-
ning direction.
3. The grinding belt (3) must run centrally on the sand-
ing surface. If not, you can use the knurled screw
(4) to make adjustments.
11 Working instructions
WARNING
Pay attention to your fingers!
Hold the workpiece firmly.
ATTENTION
Care should be taken when sanding particularly thin
or long workpieces.
11.1 Sanding chamfers and edges
(Fig.1,4,16)
The sanding table (8) can be infinitely adjusted from
to 45°.
1. Loosen the locking screw for the sanding table (9).
2. Now set the desired angle.
3. Tighten the locking screw for the sanding table (9)
again.
