SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS. This manual contains important instrucons that should be

followed during installaon and maintenance of the UPS and baeries.

UPS Tower models are considered acceptable for use in the ambient of 0 ~ 45°C;

UPS RT models are considered acceptable for use in the ambient of 0 ~ 40°C;

RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK - Observe the warning associated with the risk of electric

shock symbol.

Important instructions that must always be followed.

EU separate collection and lead content mark for Lithium batteries. Indicates that

the battery must not be disposed of to the ‘normal’ household waste but be sepa-

rately collected and recycled.

EU separate collecon mark for waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE).

Indicates that the item must not be disposed of to the ‘normal’ household waste but

be separately collected and recycled.

Safety of persons

• Dangerous voltage levels are present within the system. It should be opened exclusively

by qualied service personnel.

• The system must be properly grounded.

• The baery supplied with the system contains small amounts of toxic materials. To avoid

accidents, the direcves listed below must be observed:

෮ Servicing of baeries should be performed or supervised by personnel knowledgeable

about baeries and the required precauons.

෮ Risk of explosion if baery is replaced by an incorrect type. When replacing baeries,

replace with the same type and number of baeries or baery packs. Instrucons shall
