The IGT-2205AT-E Industrial Gigabit Media Converter supports rapid fiber link redundancy for mission-critical Ethernet applications. The redundant mode

features an auto-recovery function—when the destination port of a packet is link-down, the converter will automatically forward the packet to the backup port,

ensuring uninterrupted communication.
