2.1.5 Wiring the Power Inputs
The 6-contact terminal block connector on the top panel of Industrial Managed Switch is used for two DC redundant power
input. Please follow the steps below to insert the power wire.
1. Insert positive/negative DC power wires into Contacts 1 and 2 for Power 1, or 5 and 6 for power 2.
IGS-4215 Series
The IGS-4215-8T4X is used as an example for demonstration purposes.
2. Tighten the wire-clamp screws to prevent the wires from loosening.

1. The wire gauge for the terminal block should be in the range from 12 to 24 AWG.
2. Please check the wire AWG Ampere specification before connecting PLANET
Industrial Managed PoE Switch.
For optimal power load balancing during dual power input operations, PWR1 and
PWR2 must supply the same DC voltage. This ensures consistent and stable power
distribution across the system.
