Step 5: Set the linkage method.
General linkage includes "Upload Via SMTP", "Upload Via FTP", "Upload Via Cloud", "Sound
Alarm". When the device motion detection alarms, it will inform the user as shown in Figure 8-22.

【Upload Via SMTP】Select and the system is configured with SMTP, the alarm information will be
sent to the SMTP recipient mailbox.
【Upload Via FTP】Select and the system is configured with the FTP server, it will send the alarm
information to the FTP server.
【Upload Via Cloud】Select and the system is configured with the cloud server, it will send the
alarm information to the cloud account.
【Sound Alarm】After selection, the device will emit an alarm sound when alarming.
【Light Warming】After selection, the device will emit an alarm light when alarming. (For ICA-
M3580P, ICA-M4580P, ICA-3880 and ICA-4880)
When the arming time is set, there can be no overlap between any two time
periods.
Different devices support different alarm linkage. The alarm linkage method
is subject to the actual product.
