Each programme run with a water softener supply consumes an additional 2.0
litres of water, the energy consumption increases by 0.02 kWh and the respective
programme duration is extended by 4 minutes.
4.1.3 Setting of the water softener consumption
It is required to set the proper amount of the water softener based on the water
hardness range to optimise and customise the water softener consumption.
You can set the consumption of water softener from H
1 to H 6. Water softener
is not required when the value H
1 is set.
Six water softener consumption levels can be selected. The water softener
consumption level should always be set according to the water hardness of
your region. We recommend setting the level relevant to the table of the water
hardness range above (s. chapter 4.1.2 W

You need to get the information on the local water hardness range. You can
receive all relevant information from your local water supplier.
STEP 1: ENTER WATER SOFTENER SETTING MODE
1. Open the door.
2. Switch on the appliance using the «
ON / OFF » - BUTTON (s. chapter 3.2 VIEW OF
THE CONTROL PANEL
: OPERATING BUTTONS AND INDICATORS).
3. Within 60 seconds after you have switched on the appliance, press and hold the
«
PROGRAMME » - BUTTON for more than 5 seconds.
4. The appliance is now in water softener setting-mode.
