14.1 Maintenance

Inline terminals modules are maintenance free.

14.2 Decommissioning and disposal

Carry out decommissioning according to the requirements of the machine or system

manufacturer.

When decommissioning, ensure the following for the Inline terminals used:

The device continues to be used only as intended:

• Observe the storage and transport requirements.

The device is not used any more:

Device disposal The symbol with the crossed-out trash can indicates that this item must be collect-

ed and disposed of separately from other waste. Phoenix Contact or public collec-

tion sites will take the item back for free disposal. For information on the available

Collect and dispose of included batteries separately from other waste. Delete per-

sonal data before returning the item.

Packaging disposal • pose of packaging materials that are no longer needed (cardboard packaging, paper,

bubble wrap sheets, tubular bags, etc.) with household waste in accordance with the

currently applicable national regulations.

Please also follow the disposal instructions in the user documentation for each de-

vice.
