Description of the FL PN/PN SDIO-2TX/2TX

The device has a Link LED (LNK1 ... 4) and an Activity LED (ACT1 ... 4) for each

Ethernet/PROFINET interface. These LEDs indicate the status of Ethernet/PROFINET

interfaces 1 to 4 (B in Figure 2-6 on page 30). The / LEDs are reserved.

The LEDs have the following meaning:

BF1,

BF2

Red

No PROFINET IO communication in the corre-

sponding PROFINET system.

Flashing

No communication connection to the

PROFINET IO controller in the corresponding

PROFINET system or connection is being estab-

lished.

OFF

The PROFINET IO controller has established a

communication connection to the PROFINET IO

device in the corresponding PROFINET system.

P1,

Green

PROFIsafe communication in the corresponding

PROFINET system is OK; no errors present.

Flashing

PROFIsafe communication in the corresponding

PROFINET system is OK. The PROFINET IO de-

vice of the safe PROFINET gateway assigned to

this PROFINET system (1/2) requires an opera-

tor acknowledge request to acknowledge errors.

OFF PROFIsafe communication is not OK.
