response time – SFRT) when coupled by means of

the safe PROFINET gateway

This section provides notes on how to determine the response time/safety function

response time (SFRT) for a safety function that extends over two PROFINET/PROFIsafe

systems which are coupled by means of the safe PROFINET gateway.
