1.9 System requirements

Hardware requirements In order to start up the FL PN/PN SDIO-2TX/2TX safe PROFINET gateway according to the

examples in this user manual, two PROFINET systems are required that each have an

active connection to the corresponding part of the safe PROFINET gateway.

In order to reconstruct the examples illustrated in this user manual, corresponding

PROFIsafe controllers/devices and PROFINET IO devices are required.

Software requirements In order to ensure correct operation in an AUTOMATIONWORX system from

Phoenix Contact on your programming device, the software tools listed below must be

installed according to the specifications in the software documentation. For information on

the versions required, please refer to “Ordering data” on page 65.

– PC Worx Automation software for INTERBUS and PROFINET

– SafetyProg Programming software for PROFIsafe, etc.

– Diag+ Diagnostics software for INTERBUS and PROFINET
