1.4 Safety notes
The “Caution” symbol on the device label means:
Read the safety and installation notes in their entirety.
Failure to follow the instructions may impair the safety features provided.
The “High voltage” symbol on the device label means:
Dangerous contact voltage
Only qualified personnel may do this work. The personnel must be familiar with the
necessary safety precautions.
Failure to follow the instructions may result in damage or injury.
The “Hot surfaces” symbol on the device label means:
The surfaces of the device can get hot.
Use personal protective equipment or wait until the surfaces have cooled off.
Failure to follow the instructions may result in damage or injury.
– Installation, operation, and maintenance may only be carried out by qualified
electricians. Follow the installation instructions as described.
– When installing and operating the device, observe the applicable regulations and
safety directives (including national safety directives), as well as general technical
regulations.
– Install the device in accordance with the instructions described in the installation
notes. Accessing circuits within the device is prohibited.
– Only clean the device with a suitable damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or
solvents. Switch off the device before cleaning and disconnect the device from the
power supply.

the devices from being damaged.
