5.7 Grounding

DANGER: Danger to life from electric shock when protective conductor is

missing

Protective grounding has to be connected before the supply cables are connected.

The system must only be operated with protective grounding.

DANGER: Danger to life from missing protective conductor

A flawless grounding connection has to be established before connection to the

mains.

The grounding connection is located in the bottom area of the system control cabinet. Ob-

serve the marked grounding bolt.

– System control cabinet with nominal current ≤160 A

This system control cabinet features a busbar for protective conductor connection.

– System control cabinet with nominal current >160 A

This system control cabinet features two bolts for protective conductor connection. See

Table 5-3.

Only one cable lug can be connected to each busbar bolt.
