3.3 Maintenance and repair

WARNING: Risk of electric shock

Disconnect the workbench from the power grid before carrying out maintenance work

or troubleshooting. Disconnect the mains plug.

Daily maintenance

• Check that the individual parts of the workbench are straight and are not damaged.

There must be no cracks or breaks.

• Test that the brakes are working. Check the wheels for wear.

• Check the connections, cables, and plugs, and that everything is working correctly.

Check the connecting cable for signs of pinching or other damage.

Repairs

To avoid hazards, damaged connecting cables may only be replaced by Phoenix Contact

or by qualified personnel.

Replace damaged parts with original replacement parts from Phoenix Contact.

Operation of products with protection class II

The lifting columns and the control device are protection class II items of equipment. Items

of equipment that belong to protection class II have reinforced or double insulation between

live and accessible parts. Replacement parts for double-insulated products must be identi-

cal to the replaced products.

3.4 Cleaning

• Only use cleaning and disinfectant agents with a pH value of 6 to 8 to clean the work-

bench. Do not use strongly alkaline or acidic agents. Do not use solvents such as ben-

zine, alcohol or similar.

• Clean the workbench with a damp cloth. Do not use a pressure washer or water jet.

• Remove dust and dirt from the outside of the system on a regular basis.

3.5 Disposal

The symbol with the crossed-out trash can indicates that this item must be collected

and disposed of separately from other waste. Phoenix Contact or public collection

sites will take the item back for free disposal. For information on the available disposal
