2.4. Using the Philips ScreenShare Whiteboard

2.4.1. To use the Philips ScreenShare Whiteboard

1. Press the whiteboard icon on the Philips ScreenShare home screen.

2. Begin writing on the whiteboard.

3. Tochangepencolour,deleteorerase-presstheMenubuttonforannotationoptions.

2.4.2. Capturing and sharing the Whiteboard

1. Open the whiteboard draw on it.

2. Press the Menu button.

3. Pressing the camera/capture icon will capture the whiteboard and save it as a PNG in the shared items folder.

4. Connected users can now view and download the PNG on their device.

2.4.3. 2-Way Annotation on a whiteboard

Philips ScreenShare also enables 2-Way Annotation between the Philips ScreenShare receiver and connected user devices.

1. Press the Whiteboard icon on the Philips ScreenShare home screen.

2. Begin writing on the Whiteboard.

3. Onauser-device,selectthepenicon.

2.5. Broadcast to displays

You can now share what is on your main display to other large screens in your environment.

1. Set the ‘Broadcast to displays’ feature in your Display options settings to ON.

2. Select the Broadcast option from the Philips ScreenShare home on your main display.

3. Press start a Broadcast.

4. Onceyouareprompted,simplyenterthesessionIDontheseconddisplaythatyouwishtosharecontenttoo.

5. Now any action performed on the main display will be shown on the second display.

Enter the session ID shown on screen 2.

There is no limit to the number of other displays that you can Broadcast to.

Known limitations:

• Cannot be used with unlimited connections.

• Cannot be used with extended grid.

2.6. Broadcast to participants

You can now Broadcast directly from Philips ScreenShare. This will share the content from your display directly to viewers

Main display steps:

1. Set the Broadcast to participants feature in your Display options settings to ON.

2. Select the Broadcast option from the Philips ScreenShare home screen.

3. Press start a Broadcast.

4. Onceyouseethe‘Live’icon,YourBroadcastisavailabletobedisplayedbyparticipants.

Participants steps:

1. Navigate to screenshare.philips.

2. Enter your name and the session ID shown on the main display and press connect.

3. Choose ‘View Broadcast’ option.

Known limitations:

• Requires an internet connection.

• Cannot be used when in local only mode.

• Cannot be used with extended grid.
