7.1.1.2. Ethernet

Settings -> Network & Internet -> Internet -> Ethernet

Enable Ethernet

Enable/disable Ethernet connection by Setting -> Network &

Internet -> Internet-> Ethernet toggle button.

By default, the system uses DHCP to join the network.

Connection Information (When the options are grayed out,

they are not editable).

A. IP Address

B. Gateway

C. Netmask

D. DNS 1

E. DNS 2

F. Ethernet Mac Address

Note:

Wi-Fi connection will be disabled automatically when

Ethernet connection is enabled.

Ethernet Static IP

When the Connection Type is changed to “Static IP”, the user

can manually set the Ethernet IP Address, Gateway, Netmask

and DNS 1/2 address.

Note:

1. Please input IPv4 address in all elds; in dot-decimal

notation, consisting of four decimal numbers, each

ranges from 0 to 255, separated by dot.

Settings -> Network & internet -> Hotspot & tethering

Important Note: This option only appears when the

supported Wi-Fi dongle is plugged-in.

Use Wi-Fi hotspot

When enable this, the Wi-Fi turn o connection and become

a hotspot AP (access point). Other Wi-Fi client devices can

join into and share network. User can set up detail Wi-Fi

hotspot information when user enable “Wi-Fi hotspot”.
