TROUBLESHOOTING
If the heater doesn’t turn on or isn’t functioning properly, check the following
troubleshooting steps:
The heater won’t turn on
• Make sure the power cord is rmly plugged into a working electrical outlet.
• NEVER use an extension cord, adapter, surge protector, etc.
• Test the outlet with another device to conrm it’s supplying power.
• Ensure the Flame Eect Switch (#4) is turned ON. This is the main power
switch for the unit.
• Verify the heater is placed on a at, stable surface.
• If trying to use High Heat Mode, conrm the Low Heat Switch is also ON.
The ame is working, but there’s no heat
• Make sure you’ve pressed the Low Heat or High Heat Switch after turning on
the Flame Eect Switch.
• For High Heat Mode, both the Low Heat and High Heat switches must be ON.
• Turn the Thermostat Knob all the way up. If it’s set too low per the room
temperature, the heater won’t activate.
The ame or heat shuts o unexpectedly
• Turn it o, unplug it, and allow it to stand for at least 60 minutes.
• Check that the air intake and outlet grills are clear of obstructions.
• Ensure the internal motor is running smoothly and not blocked by dust
or debris.
