Markings for cutting line
The viewing window for the cutting line helps you
accurately guide the machine along the cutting line
on the workpiece.
♦ For a true-to-size cut, place the machine onto
the workpiece so that the cut marking appears
in the viewing window for the cutting line
.
Connecting a dust extractor
NOTE
►
When working on wood for long periods of
time and especially when working on materials
that generate dust that is hazardous to health,
connect the appliance to an external dust
extractor suitable for the material.
► Check that the dust extractor is correctly
attached.
► Also refer to the operating instructions for the
dust extractor.
► Observe the applicable regulations in your
country regarding the materials to be
worked.
♦ Attach the dust extractor adapter onto the
dust extractor connection . Optional depend-
ing on the diameter of the dust and sawdust
extractor.
♦ Connect an approved dust and sawdust ex-
tractor to the dust extractor adapter .
Changing the saw blade
WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!
► Always disconnect the battery pack be-
fore carrying out any work on the appliance.
1. Press the spindle lock
and use the hex key
to loosen the clamping screw (turn clockwise
to open). Now remove the clamping screw
and the clamping flange (see also Fig. B).
2. Set the cutting depth to the maximum position.
3. Activate the safety lock-out and hold it in
position. Swivel the base plate
upwards.
4. Remove the saw blade
.
5. Fitting a saw blade is done in the reverse order.
6. Press the spindle lock button
(until it engages)
and use the hex key
to tighten the clamping
screw
.
■ The arrow on the saw blade must correspond to
the arrow showing the direction of rotation
(operating direction shown on the appliance).
Cleaning and maintenance

► Always disconnect the battery pack be-
fore carrying out any work on the appliance.
NOTE
►
Have replacement parts replaced by the
manufacturer, their customer service or a
similarly qualified person.
■ Clean the cordless plunge saw after finishing
work.
■ Use a cloth to clean the housing and never use
petrol or detergent.
■ Always keep the area around the blade guard
clean. Remove dust and shavings with a brush.
