Disposal
The packaging is made of environmen-
tally friendly material that you can
discard at the local recycling point.
Pay attention to the labels on the
packaging material when sorting
waste, as these are marked using
abbreviations (a) and numbers
(b) with the following meaning: 1-7:
Plastics; 20-22: Paper and pulp; 80-98:
Composite materials.
The following declaration only applies to
Germany:
The symbol with the crossed-out trash
can means that electrical and electronic
appliances cannot be discarded
together with household waste. Consum-
ers are legally obliged to bring electrical and
electronic appliances that have reached the end
of their service life to a facility that performs
separate collection of unsorted municipal waste.
This ensures environmentally friendly and re-
source-saving recycling.
Batteries and accumulators that are not completely
encased by the electrical or electronic appliance
and can be removed without being destroyed
must be separated from the appliance before they
are handed in to a designated disposal facility.
The same applies to lamps that can be removed
from the appliance without being destroyed.
Owners of electrical and electronic appliances
operated in private households can hand these in
at collection points designated by the public waste
