Changing the screw bit
♦ Pull the depth stop sleeve off the adjusting
ring .
♦ Change the screw bit .
♦ Attach the depth stop sleeve onto the adjusting
ring .
Using the depth stop sleeve
The depth stop sleeve allows you to determine
the screw-in depth of screws.
Setting the screw-in depth:
♦ Turn the adjusting ring clockwise (seen from
your working position) to reduce the screw-in
depth.
♦ Turn the adjusting ring anticlockwise (seen
from your working position) to increase the
screw-in depth.
■ You can work out the required setting by trial
and error.
NOTE
►
Due to the clutch, the screw bit only turns
when pressure is exerted on the screw.
► First press the screw bit onto the screw
head before switching on the appliance.
► The locking button is intended for use with
the magazine attachment (available as an
accessory).
Screwing in screws with depth stop sleeve
:
♦ Start with a shallow screw depth.
Increase the screw depth bit by bit until you
reach the desired screw depth.
Screwing screws in and out without the depth
stop sleeve
:
♦ Pull off the depth stop sleeve .
♦ Carefully screw the screws in and out. There is
no torque limiting.
Using the belt clip
♦ Attach the belt clip to your belt to have both
hands free while working.
Maintenance and cleaning
WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!
Always switch off the appliance be-
fore carrying out any work on it.
The appliance is maintenance-free.
■ The appliance must always be kept clean, dry
and free from oil or grease.
■ Never allow liquids to get inside the appliance.
■ Use a dry cloth to clean the housing. Never use
petrol, solvents or cleansers which can damage
plastic.
NOTE
► Replacement parts not listed (such as batteries,
switches) can be ordered via our Service hotline.

Dear Customer,
This appliance has a 3-year warranty valid from the date
of purchase. If included with the product on delivery, the
battery packs of the X12V and X20V Team series also
come with a 3-year warranty from the date of purchase.
If this product has any faults, you, the buyer, have certain
statutory rights. Your statutory rights are not restricted in
any way by the warranty described below.
Warranty conditions
The warranty period starts on the date of purchase.
Please keep your receipt in a safe place. This will
be required as proof of purchase.
If any material or manufacturing fault occurs within
three years of the date of purchase of the product,
we will either repair or replace the product for you or
refund the purchase price (at our discretion). This war-
ranty service requires that you present the defective
appliance and the proof of purchase (receipt) within
the three-year warranty period, along with a brief writ-
ten description of the fault and of when it occurred.
If the defect is covered by the warranty, your prod-
uct will either be repaired or replaced by us. The
repair or replacement of a product does not signify
the beginning of a new warranty period.
