u Do not operate the product without the
protective cover

u To operate the product, wear suitable
clothing, eye and ear protection.
u Prior to every use, check that the product
is operative.
u Do not block the on/off switch[2] or the
switch lock
[3]. They must reliably turn off
the motor when you release the switch.
Do not operate the product if one of the
switches is damaged.
NOTE
u Observe local regulations concerning
noise protection.

CAUTION! Risk of injury!
u Do not cut moist or wet grass.
u Before starting the product, make sure
that the spool is not touching any stones,
scree, or other foreign objects.
u Switch on the product before you
approach the grass that is to be cut.
u Do not overload the product during
operation.
u Avoid contact with obstacles (stones,
walls, fences, etc.). The nylon thread on
the line spool[] would wear out quickly.
u Avoid using the product in bad weather,
especially if there is a danger of
lightning!
