WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!
► Always switch the appliance off and remove
the battery before carrying out any work on
the appliance.
■ Wear protective gloves.
■ Only carry out work that you are confident in
yourself to do.
■ If you are uncertain about anything, consult
a specialist or call our Service department.
Fitting the handlebar (see fig. B)
Attach the lower shanks
♦ Push the two lower shanks 6 into the sockets
on the lawnmower housing.
♦ Fix the lower shank 6 into place using the
supplied washers 4 and quick-release levers 3.
♦ Lock the quick-release levers 3 by pushing
them towards the handle 1. They must lie
against the handle in such a way that they can
be closed with the application of medium force.
Otherwise, the quick-release lever 3 must be
tightened by turning them clockwise or loosened
anti-clockwise before closing.
Fitting the handle (see fig. C)
♦ Attach the handle 1 using the supplied nuts 5,
washers 4 and the quick release levers 3
to the lower shanks 6. Three positions are
possible.
Fitting the cable retainer (see fig. A)
♦ Clip the cable retainer z onto the lower
shank 6 and the curved handle 1 and fix it
onto the appliance cable u.
NOTE
►
If you loosen and open the quick-release
levers 3, you can fold the handle 1 down
to store the appliance. Make sure that the
appliance cable u is not trapped.
Fitting the grass catcher (see fig.D)
♦ Slide the plastic flaps over the tube frame.
♦ Insert the handle 7 of the grass catcher 8 into
the mounting provided for this purpose on the
top of the grass catcher 8.
WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!
► The lawnmower may not be used without the
impact guard 9 or the grass catcher 8.
There is a risk of injury.
Operation
WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!
► Make adjustments to the lawnmower only
when the motor is switched off and the blade
is stationary. There is a risk of personal injury.
Switch the appliance off and remove
the contact key t and wait until the
blade is at a complete standstill.
Fitting/removing the grass catcher
(see fig. E)
NOTE
►
The lawnmower is supplied with the mulching
kit o pre-fitted.
♦ To attach the grass catcher 8, lift the impact
guard 9 and hook the grass catcher 8 onto
the appliance.
♦ Lower the impact guard 9 onto the grass
catcher. This holds the grass catcher 8 in the
correct position.
