♦ Clean the protective cover 0 and the cutting
tool after each use.
Remove grass clippings and soil using a brush.
General maintenance work
♦ Before each use, check the device for any
defects or damage, such as loose, worn or
damaged parts.
♦ Check the protective cover 0 and other protec-
tive devices for damage and correct fit. Replace
them if necessary.
♦ Check the line cutter x regularly. Never use
the device without a line cutter or with a dam-
aged line cutter x. Make sure that a defective
line cutter x is replaced by the Service Centre.

weak.
Charge the batteries.
The cutting tool does
not rotate.
A foreign object, such as a
branch, is blocking the cutting
tool.
Switch off the device immediately,
remove the batteries and remove the
blockage.
