Fitting the auxiliary handle
Illustration :
1. Loosen the star knob nut (25) and pull
the screw (26) out of the auxiliary han-
dle (12).
2. Place the auxiliary handle (12) on the
motor housing (3).
3. Insert the screw (26) from the left
through the auxiliary handle (12).
4. Screw the star knob nut (25) onto the
screw (26).
Disassembly is done in reverse order.
Fitting the collection bag
In suction mode the device
must only be operated with
the collection bag tted.

1. Push the collection bag (5) onto the mo-
tor housing (3) until it clicks into place.
2. Attach the snap hook (27) of the col-
lection bag (5) to the eyelet (28) of the
lower blower pipe (6).
Initial start-up
Before operating the device, you must
- insert both rechargeable batteries,
- install the blower or suction pipes
(please note the assembly order),
- install the collection bag for suctioning
leaves,
The device should only be operated
with the carrying strap (22) tted.
The carrying strap ensures con-
trolled static discharge.
Caution! Risk of injury! Dur-
ing the assembly or disas-
sembly of the blower pipe,
suction pipe or collection bag,
the device must be turned off
and all moving parts must
have come to a standstill.
Remove the batteries before
carrying out any work!
Charging the battery
Ensure that the ambient tem-
perature does not exceed
40°C or fall below 4°C dur-
ing the charging process.
If warm, allow the battery to cool
before charging.
Do not expose the battery to direct
sunlight for long periods and do
not place it on a radiator (max.
50°C).
1. Remove the rechargeable batteries
(17) from the device, if necessary.
2. Slide the rechargeable batteries (17)
onto the charger (16) up to the stop.
3. Plug the charger (16) into a socket.
4. Once charging is complete, disconnect
the charger (16) from the mains supply.
5. Remove the battery (17) from the
charger (16).
Remove/insert battery
1. To remove the battery (17) from the
device, press the release button (20)
on the battery (17) and pull the battery
out.
2. To insert the battery (17), push the bat-
tery (17) along the guide rail into the
device. You will hear it click into place.
