■ Search through the branches and shrubs for foreign objects, such
as wire fences and hidden cables or pipes.
■ Hold the pruning shears correctly, such as with both hands (if two
handles are present).
■ The pruning shears are intended for work where the operator is
standing on the ground and not on a ladder or other unstable
surface.
■ Before using the pruning shears, the user should ensure that the
locking mechanisms of all moving parts (e.g. of the extended
shaft and the swivel element), if present, are in the locked position.
■ Attention! The cutter will continue to run after the motor is
switched off.
■ Warning! Keep bystanders away! Also watch out for children
and pets.
■ Never allow children, persons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge or per-
sons who are not familiar with these instructions to use the machine.
■ Wear sturdy shoes and long trousers during use.
Operation
■ Never use the appliance for purposes other than those for
which it was designed, and only use original parts/accessories.
Using attachments or accessory tools other than those recom-
mended in the operating instructions can lead to a risk of injury.
