♦ To lock the spindle, push the spindle lock
back onto the flexible shaft.
♦ Use the combination spanner
to undo the
tensioning nut on the flexible shaft.
Fit the accessory and retighten the tensioning
nut
.
Stand for the multi-tool
♦ Screw the stand into the clamping
assembly .
NOTE
► Depending on the desired attachment onto a
vertical or horizontal surface, you can screw
the stand
into the clamping assembly in
two different positions.
♦ Screw the clamping assembly
onto the edge
of a work bench or table whose thickness is at
most 60 mm.
♦ The stand
is height-adjustable. Undo the
upper part of the stand
by turning it anti-
clockwise (−). Pull out the tube to the maximum
height and lock it again by turning it clockwise
(+).
♦ The mount
is also height-adjustable; turn the
black thread anticlockwise. After you have set
the mount to the correct height, tighten the
thread by turning in the opposite direction.
♦ Fix the appliance onto the mount
of the
stand using the metal bracket . The
mount can be turned 360°.
Router cage
With this attachment, the appliance is particularly
suitable for cutting special forms (holes for plugs,
etc.).
♦ Insert the milling bit
as described in the
section "Changing/inserting the tool/collet
chuck".
♦ Ensure that the shaft of the bit protrudes out of
the collet chuck by about 16 mm.
♦ Screw the union nut
anticlockwise off the
appliance and store it carefully.
♦ Screw the router cage
onto the appliance.
♦ To set the correct working height, undo the
locking screw
and adjust the foot of the
router cage to the desired size.
♦ Afterwards, retighten the locking screw
.
