CAUTION! RISK OF EXPLOSION!
Never charge non-rechargeable
batteries.
Protect the recharge-
able battery from heat (for example, from
continuous exposure to sunlight), fire, water
and moisture. There is a risk of explosion.
6. Service
a) Have your power tool serviced by a qualified
repair person using only identical replace-
ment parts. This will ensure that the safety of
the power tool is maintained.
b) Never try to repair damaged batteries. Batter-
ies should only be maintained by the manufac-
turer or an approved customer service centre.
Safety instructions for blind

■ Keep your hands away from moving parts.
■ Do not allow the broken off mandrels to fall to
the floor. Otherwise, you could be injured by
the broken off mandrels.
■ Always ensure that you have firm footing. When
you are working with the appliance in an ele-
vated position, ensure that no one is standing
beneath you.
■ Take care that broken off mandrels do not fall
from elevated positions. Otherwise, injuries may
occur.
■ Always hold the appliance with a firm grip.
■ Never point the tool at yourself or other people
during use. The rivets or broken off mandrel
could be accidentally ejected, which could
injure you or others.
Original accessories/attachments
Use only the accessories and additional equipment
that are specified in the operating instructions and
are compatible with the appliance.
WARNING!
■ Do not use any accessories that are not rec-
ommended by PARKSIDE. This can lead to
electric shock and fire.
Charging the battery pack (see fig. C)
WARNING!
► Observe the safety instructions and the in-
structions on charging and correct use given
in the operating instructions for your X20
Team series battery and charger.
A detailed description of the charging pro-
cess and further information can be found in
these separate operating instructions.
CAUTION!
► Always unplug the appliance before you re-
move the battery pack from or connect the
battery pack to the charger.
♦ If necessary, remove the battery from the appli-
ance.
♦ Insert the battery pack e into the high-speed
charger t.
♦ Insert the mains plug into the mains socket.
♦ When charging is complete, disconnect the
high-speed charger t from the mains.
♦ Remove the battery pack e from the high-
speed charger t.
♦ Switch off the charger for at least 15 minutes
between successive charging sessions. Also
disconnect the mains plug.
