WARNING!
Switch off the product and disconnect
it from the mains before replacing
attachments, cleaning and when not in
use.

WARNING!
u Secure or fasten the workpiece during
drilling operations by using a clamp,
lockable pliers or a vice. Only perform
drilling works to a workpiece that is securely
fastened.
Adjusting the auxiliary handle
NOTE
u For safety reasons, only use this product with
the auxiliary handle[8] attached.
1. Loosen the strap on the auxiliary handle[8] by
turning it anticlockwise.
2. Turn the auxiliary handle[8] into a proper
angle depending on your working position.
3. Turn the auxiliary handle[8] clockwise to
tighten it.
Installing the depth stop
1. Loosen the depth stop screw[].
2. Insert the depth stop[] into the auxiliary
handle[8].
3. Pull the depth stop[] out until the distance
between the tip of drilling tools and the tip of
the depth stop corresponds with the required
drilling depth.
4. Tighten the depth stop screw[] to lock the
depth stop[].

Tool-changing
o Use the SDS-Plus tool holder [] to change
tools quickly and easily without the need for
any additional tools.
o The SDS-Plus drilling tool moves freely
(depending on the system). This leads to a
radial run-out deviation while idling. This has
no effect on the accuracy of the drill hole as
the drill centres itself during drilling.
o The dust protection cap [] largely prevents
the entry of drilling dust into SDS-Plus tool
holder[] during operation. Ensure that the
dust protection cap does not get damaged
when fitting tools.
NOTE
u A damaged dust protection cap [] must be
replaced immediately. Contact a customer
service workshop.
