Switching on/off
o Insert the mains plug[5] into a socket-outlet.
The LED[6] lights up to indicate that the
product is ready for use.
Switching on
o Press the on/off switch [3].
o Do not switch the power tool on unless you
plan to use it, to save energy.
Switching off
o Release the on/off switch [3].
o At low temperatures, the power tool will only
reach its full hammer performance/strike
power after a certain time.
Continuous operation
o Press the on/off switch [3]. At the same time,
press the lock button[4] to lock the on/off
switch.
o To cancel continuous operation, press the on/
off switch [3] and release it.
Selecting rotational speed
NOTE
u The set speed is only reached in continuous
operation.
o Rotate the speed selection wheel[7] to select
the rotational speed from level1 (low) to level
6 (high). The required speed depends on the
material to be processed.

in use.
Cleaning
NOTE
u Do not use chemical, alkaline, abrasive or
other aggressive detergents or disinfectants
to clean this product as they might be
harmful to its surfaces.
u Never allow fluids to get into the product.
u The product must always be kept clean, dry
and free from oil or grease. Remove debris
from it after each use and before storage.
u Regular and proper cleaning will help
ensure safe use and prolong the life of the
product.
o Clean the product with a dry cloth. Use a soft
brush for areas that are hard to reach.
o In particular clean the air vents after every
use with a cloth and soft brush.
The air vents must always be clear.
