u Do not use accessories not recommended
by . This may result in electric
shock or fire.
To operate this product safely and correctly, the
following accessories, i.e. tools and accessory
tools, are necessary:
o SDS-Plus insertion tool
o Suitable personal protective equipment
Accessories and accessory tools are available
through your authorised dealer. When buying
always consider the technical requirements of this
product (see “Technical data”). If you are not
certain, ask a qualified specialist and get advice
from your trusted dealer.
Operation

WARNING!
Switch off the product and disconnect
it from the mains before replacing
attachments, cleaning and when not
in use.

WARNING!
u Secure or fasten the workpiece during
drilling operations by using a clamp,
lockable pliers or a vice. Only perform
drilling works to a workpiece that is
securely fastened.
NOTE
u Push the rotation direction switch [2] into
the middle position before carrying out any
work on the power tool (e.g. maintenance,
tool-changing, etc.) as well as during
carriage and storage of the power tool.
Unintentional activation of the on/off
switch [3] can result in injury.
Installing the auxiliary handle
NOTE
u For safety reasons, only use this product
with the auxiliary handle[] attached.
1. Loosen the strap on the auxiliary handle[]
by turning it anticlockwise.
2. Turn the auxiliary handle[] into a proper
angle depending on your working position.
3. Turn the auxiliary handle[] clockwise to
tighten it.
Installing the depth stop
1. Loosen the depth stop screw[1].
2. Insert the depth stop[] into the auxiliary
handle[].
3. Pull the depth stop[] out until the distance
between the tip of drilling tools and the tip of
the depth stop corresponds with the required
drilling depth.
4. Tighten the depth stop screw[1] to lock the
depth stop[].
